Sail farther. Dive deeper. Connect meaningfully. Here are our destinations for 2027:
Hawai‘i
Sail the volcanic islands of Hawai‘i, where lush mountains meet turquoise waters alive with dolphins, turtles, and humpback whales. Experience the perfect blend of rich Polynesian culture and dramatic natural beauty above and below the sea.
Marquesas
Remote and rugged, the Marquesas rise dramatically from the Pacific with towering cliffs, waterfalls, and lush valleys. These wild islands offer an unspoiled glimpse of Polynesia’s ancestral heart, rich with tradition and artistry.
Kiritimati (Christmas Island) and Tabuaeran (Fanning Island)
Known as the world’s largest coral atoll, Kiritimati is a pristine paradise teeming with birdlife and vibrant reefs. Its untouched beauty makes it a haven for divers, anglers, and those seeking true isolation.
Tuamotus
The Tuamotus are a necklace of low-lying coral atolls, each encircling brilliant blue lagoons alive with marine life. Ideal for divers and sailors, this archipelago offers serene anchorages and some of the world’s best drift dives.
Rangiroa
One of the largest atolls in the world, Rangiroa is famed for its vast lagoon and exhilarating encounters with sharks, dolphins, and manta rays. Its tranquil motus and world-class diving make it a dream destination for ocean adventurers.
Season Highlights
(dates at end of page)
Crossing from Hawai’i to San Francisco
Sail 2,100 miles across the North Pacific from Hilo, Hawaiʻi to San Francisco — the capstone passage of our season. This voyage offers true offshore sailing: long days at sea, steady watches, and the challenge of navigating the North Pacific High.
Expect classic bluewater conditions — brisk reaching and downwind sailing, big ocean swells, and the occasional fog bank as we close on the California coast. It’s an ideal opportunity for advanced sailors to log significant ocean miles and pursue ASA 108: Offshore Passage Making.
Landfall at the Golden Gate is unforgettable: after weeks at sea, sailing beneath the red towers into San Francisco Bay marks the triumphant end of an ocean crossing.
Hawai’i to Marquesas
Cast off from Hawaiʻi and set a course deep into the South Pacific. Over 2,000 nautical miles, you’ll leave the Big Island astern and ride the trade winds into one of the world’s most storied cruising grounds — the remote and breathtaking Marquesas Islands.
This leg offers long downwind days, star-filled nights, and the experience of crossing the equator under sail. Along the way, you’ll stand watch, hone your offshore navigation, and live the rhythm of a true passage-making crew. For those advancing their training, this voyage supports ASA 108: Offshore Passage Making and other ASA courses, with plenty of opportunities for celestial work, heavy-weather tactics, and leadership at sea.
Arriving in the lush volcanic peaks of the Marquesas, you’ll know the rare satisfaction of sailing from Hawaiʻi into the heart of Polynesia — a true ocean passage few ever make.
Marquesas, Tuamotus, Rangiroa
Sail from the towering volcanic peaks of the Marquesas into the turquoise lagoons of the Tuamotus, one of the most enchanting archipelagos on earth. This 770-mile passage blends open-ocean sailing with the challenge of navigating coral atolls and passes, making it both adventurous and rewarding.
Expect steady trade winds, brilliant starry nights, and the chance to refine your seamanship in one of the most unique sailing environments in the world. Along the way you’ll practice navigation, stand night watches, and experience the transition from rugged Polynesian high islands to the reef-ringed atolls of the Tuamotus.
Our landfall is Rangiroa, a vast lagoon renowned worldwide for its diving and snorkeling. Drift alongside manta rays, dolphins, and reef sharks in warm, clear waters — the perfect reward after an unforgettable South Pacific passage.
ASA certifications are available including ASA 108: Offshore Passage Making
Kirimati (Christmas Island) and Tabuaeran (Fanning Island)
Step off the deep-ocean passages and enjoy a shorter adventure between two of the most remote atolls in the Pacific. From the vast coral expanse of Kiritimati (Christmas Island) to the turquoise lagoon of Tabuaeran (Fanning Island), this leg combines hands-on sailing with time to explore reef-rich waters and traditional island life.
Expect steady trades, warm seas, and the chance to dive or snorkel among coral gardens teeming with fish, rays, and reef sharks. Remote and rarely visited, Tabuaeran offers a glimpse of Polynesia at its most authentic. This leg is ideal for sailors wanting ocean miles with a balance of cultural immersion and time inside the lagoon.
