Why “Koru?”
Koru is a Maori word, the symbol of which inspired by the unfurling silver fern frond indigenous to New Zealand. The koru represents peace, tranquility, personal growth, positive change and awakening, new life and harmony. This symbolism embodies the essence of what we facilitate for our students and expedition members.
